Five Filters Feed Creator is a tool to roll your own RSS feeds. I wonder if this will work with Instagram? If there was ever a use case for crow-barring an RSS feed out of an unwilling site, Instagram is it. Just a feed of pretty pictures sounds alright to me. But I am an old school RSS guy from way back.

Astronaut.io is a site that plays a few seconds from YouTube videos with almost no views. It cycles through them randomly and will continue to do so until you stop it. These video clips are simultaneously mundane, and sublime in their ephemerality. I have been putting Astronaut.io on a second screen with the volume down while listening to music and working. It’s the perfect visual background noise, always interesting yet never compelling.
